We will probably not be able to blog until we get home, so this may our last entry until that time. One of my favorite Jimmy Buffett tunes says it all, "If the phone doesn't ring, it's me!" So no news from us will be good news. If something happens with the visas tommorow, we will tell you. Otherwise, consider our silence to mean that we are indeed on that plane and coming home!
24DEC KLM 3097 KIEV BORISPOL to AMSTERDAM arriving 8:45am
24DEC KLM 6041 AMSTERDAM to MINNEAPOLIS STPAUL arriving 12:40pm
24DEC KLM 6549 MINNEAPOLIS STPAUL to DENVER arriving 3:34pm
See you soon!

Merry Christmas!!
Is there anything more appropriate to say - other than.....
WHOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Congrats! Glad to hear that everything is getting sorted out! I'm sure that you and your children will be thrilled to be in Denver. Rebecca
Heidi and Felix,
Our warmest congratulations on your beautiful new children! We haven't had the opportunity to sit down for more than a couple of minutes at a time to follow your journey, but we are so happy for you. And, you get to be home for Christmas - how amazing for all of you. What a wonderful way to start your lives together in America!

Heidi and Felix -
I checked your arrival time from Amsterdam and your departure time to Denver - right around an hour.
You will have to clear Immigration in MN - where you will be asked to go to a room/waiting area within Immigration to turn over your sealed package from the US Embassy in Kyiv (containing the paperwork on the kids), then clear customs. I would let the officials know you need to make a connecting flight - but in Denver it was first-come-first-served at the counterin the lounge.
Not sure what class you are flying on KLM, but I would suggest asking for seat assignments as far forward as possible so that you are ahead of most of the crowd getting off.
Have the kids hit the bathrooms 1/2hr. before landing so that is taken care of - now you can beat feet/bypass bathrooms and get in the Immigration line.
We were told to get in the US Citizens line, as that is what the children will be after your submit their paperwork.
Just want to be sure you guys make your flight home!

PS - We were told repeatedly, and I am sure you will be also by the Embassy and your Facilitator, to NOT give your sealed US Embassy Packet to anyone at the Kyiv Airport. I kept it in a different area than the court decree, the kids' passports, etc. so that when the official looked in my bag there were no more documents that he could see. Don't let them bully you as the packet is ONLY to be opened by US Immigration.
See, that wasn't so hard! If you get out of Kiev without threatening to smack a cab driver or one more person shoving their way in front of you because you don't speak fluent Russian, you'll have done better than I! Way to hang tough!! Oh, and nice job getting the dates right on the return trip home-some morons actually forget about the time change and gaining 9 hours! Great posts, great attitude, blah, blah, blah...Matt
Merry Christmas! We hope to see you at DIA....I am so happy and excited for you all! Hugs and kisses!
Love,
The Stoesz family
Yeah! What a wonderful Christmas for all of you! Glad you paid the expediting fees....sometimes it is just worth to get home. Safe Travels!
Heidi and Felix,
Your family is beautiful. All I have thought of today (the 24th) is that you are coming home after a journey of true love. It is so appropriate that you will spend Christmas with your children at "HOME"
God Bless, Linda
Wish we could be there to greet you but it's a bit far! Merry Christmas Roge's. I have been tracking your flights all day and if you are on that plane, you are landing right now. Whoooohoooo! Welcome home.

P.S. New job so I don't have your email address anymore. Just sayin'
