A few pictures for you

There's nothing to write about. All is well and the family is doing fine, so...here's some pictures. We were warned Monday & Tuesday of an incoming winter storm. Here's what we woke up to this morning. Isn't it mid-May? Gotta love it here in Colorado!

FUN FACT: Humans and giraffes have the same number of vertebrae in their necks, seven. Giraffe and human neck vertebrae are homologous structure because they both have roughly the same shape, number, and function. The giraffe vertebrae are obviously much taller, but other than that they are nearly identical structures.

Karen,

Yeah, agreed. But, she is much happier now. And one other thing, she actively engages me and Heidi in conversation. She couldn't wait to tell us about her field trip to her first MLB game last night. I just let her talk on and on (all English) about it. Whne she was finished, and after a bunch of "oh yeah's" and "really's" from me, I told her..."Rimma I love to listen to you talk". She gave me an "ohh, DAD!" :)

Felix,

I just learned that Oksana and Vladik are still in need of a hosting family. Will spread the word on my end (New England) but wanted to let you know as well. I know you are full up this summer (see, eg, Fast Freddy!) and we're already hosting to our capacity this summer, but hopefully someone will step out in faith for these 2 wonderful children.
