We dont have RR's up here but Im wondering how in the world y'all eat for $36?! The two of us can hardly pull that one off!
The kids get a kids meal, it is huge and comes with two sides (they usually get a salad and fries) and unlimited drink refill (that's why we get 12-16 cups, its cheaper and faster for RR to do it that way) We limit them to 3 drinks (8oz cups), 4 if they're lucky.
The prices are: RAD ROBIN BURGER $4.59, CARNIVAL CORN DOG $3.99,CHEESY MAC ‘N CHEESY $4.79, RED’S PIZZERIA PIZZA $4.79, GRILLED CHICK-ON-A-STICK $4.79, RED ROBINETTI SPAGHETTI $4.59,CHICK-CHICK-CHICKEN FINGERS $4.79, GRILLED CHEESEWICH $3.99, CHICK-N-CHEESE QUESADILLA $4.79.
RR gives free steak fry baskets with Ranch dip while you wait. We go thru 4 baskets, this fills everyone up halfway.
Take the most expensive ($4.79) times 4 is $19.16.
RR is known for it's gormet burgers and they are huge, not to mention you get another round of steak fries when you order one. The burgers are $9.29. Heidi and I split one (we're already getting stuffed from the free fries).
So...
$19.29
+$9.29
+$1.29 (adult drink)
+$1.29 (adult drink)
+$5.00 tip
=$36.16 !!
(OK, not all the kids get the most expensive thing and there is tax, but no kidding, we spend about $36-37 each time!!)

We have a whole supply of RR cups! Our secret budget tip is Applebee's on Wednesday nights for Kid's Night (12 and under) eat for $.99 including the drink! One adult can bring up to 4 kids - so even if I am single Mom for the night, I can take all 3 kids! Our local Applebee's also has crafts that night, so we adults have some private time while one of the staff members leads the kids in crafts! They each bring their "creation" back to the table as the food arrives! We realize that most of your brood is over 12, but we thought we would pass it along for your legions of adoring fans!
